TRS12 was good for its time but also a pain to use for route building with its constant freezes. Only reason to keep TRS12 is for reskin purposes and to bring over content that is 'unknown' in newer Trainz versions. If your hardware permits it I strongly advice you upgrading to at least TANE SP3. I have found no problems in newer versions of Trainz. Regarding the dissappearing of tracks: this is a TRS12 annoyance. The route you drove is the Icarus Shinkansen of course as the Colden Shinkansen goes to Electro Island. I reached the end of the line and I'm guessing this will be completed soon. There are lots of commuter lines around and I hope to test drive them soon. I don't know if this happens in trainz 19 since I'm using 12. Something I did notice while driving was how the older shinkansen tracks would sometimes disappear.
